I simply do not understand the boo-hooing 10 years after the Princess Ho died in a stupid auto accident caused by photographers while she was trying to escape their attention with her lover.
I think this post by Roger Kimball sums it all up. And no, I have absolutely no idea where I was when I heard that Diana had died. It just wasn’t one of those important things that sear the memory in your mind, like the JFK assassination, the Reagan assassination attempt, or the Challenger or Columbia disasters. Sorry.
