Bad enough Ben Wallace is a thug — Detroit fans are completely out of hand.
I don’t even know what else I can say, other than the fact that Detroit ought to forfeit every home game for the rest of the season over this.
The one time Ron Artest actually tries to stay cool and out of it, and some idiot throws a beer at him. You people disgust me.
MORE: This AP story is completely unfair. You have to go 7 grafs in to see that the whole thing was started by Ben Wallace, who acted like a twelve-year-old when Artest fouled him. The whole thing could have been avoided by Ben Wallace acting like a man. Instead he turned on Artest and damn near took his head off.
And you watch the tape of that whole incident and it’s amazing how long it took before the fan threw the beer. They almost had it all calmed down and some season-ticket-holding thug (had to be — who else has courtside tickets?) blew the whole thing up. I sure hope someone got tape from an angle that makes it possible to identify this thug/fan.
The bitch is (as my wife said), you’ll never find out who threw the beer and cost them the game. Nobody wants another Chicago Cubs interference incident.
