This is what’s wrong with instapolling on web sites. I’m a relatively smart guy if I do say so myself, and frankly, I haven’t got a clue about how good a source of courtroom evidence mitochondrial DNA is. All I know about mitochondrial DNA is that someone proved years ago that we’re all related to some African ur-female by using it as a research tool. And I think it was used to prove that Thomas Jefferson sired children on Sally Hemmings, but I can’t remember for sure.
