I’ve eaten in that restaurant in Tipton more times than I care to think about, although not recently. I think the Sherrills worked for the previous owner and bought the restaurant from him, so I probably knew them, too, years ago.
(On reflection, it may be that the Sherrills owned the gas station adjacent to the restaurant, and bought the restaurant when the owner retired. The restaurant was called “Briggs’s” back in the ’70s, when Dad and I used to drive to Kokomo on a daily basis.)
Anyone who could be so shitful as to claim they were Shannon and screw with the Sherrills like this needs to be publicly executed as a warning to others.
