All Bullshit Game

Two thumbs down.
The All-Star game should not determine home-field advantage for the World Series. That’s complete and utter caca bullshit.
The All-Star game is meant for the fans to get to see the greatest players in the game play as two teams against one another. This is not to say that you will see the greatest play, or an astronomical score; nobody wants to get hurt, and if you’ve got good pitching, the other side’s sluggers aren’t going to get past you anyway. The All-Star game is supposed to be FUN. It isn’t SUPPOSED to mean ANYTHING.
And God damn it, last year they simply should have restarted the pitching rotation and finished the game. What a bunch of whining primadonnas today’s pitchers are. Complete games are the exception rather than the rule. ERAs are sky-high yet these young men are acclaimed as the greatest in the game.
The powers that be are killing the game of baseball. Killing it. Dead.
I can just see this, what was it several years ago, Seattle 20 games ahead of everyone in the standings, but let’s say the AL had lost the All-Star Game that year and this stupid rule had been in force. Are you really going to be the Commissioner of Baseball who gets to tell Seattle that they can’t have home field advantage because the AL stepped on their dauber in what is essentially a meaningless game?
Not me, buddy. Getting hit with a bat hurts.
