The probable track of Hurricane Irene is now projected to move straight through New York City.
I can't see a downside, frankly. In fact, the only way this could be better would be if it moved a little farther west and then stalled on top of Washington DC, like, permanently. (Sorry to my friends and co-workers who have to live there.)
Well, we'll see how well Commander Zero and his FEMA handle Øbama's Katrina.
