I keep seeing articles claiming that email is dead, only Web 2.0 matters anymore. To which I naturally have to call bullshit, having been in the email business for over 16 years and watching the amount of email I get continuing to soar. (Yeah, I get lots of spam, too. I'm not talking about spam.)
To my point, a guy I know emailed today after getting sent to voice mail hell when trying to call a customer back:
If only there were some asynchronous way of communicating, so you didn't need to make appointments with people to explain what you wanted to tell them. Well, anyway.
I LOL'ed.
