Gannett Star headline: CONGRESS GOT THINGS DONE — AT A PRICE
Witty (could refer to either the break-the-budget amount of money that got spent in the last session, or the fact that the last session resulted in a bunch of Dumbocrats being kicked to the curb specifically because of their tax-and-spend ways), but producing enough spin to light the City of Indianapolis for the entire Christmas holiday.
This Congress got nothing OF VALUE done. And indeed they were stymied in even passing an omnibus spending bill to kick the government funding can down the road into the next Congress...something that never happens.
But it's nice to see the reminder that the Gannett Star can't be trusted to think for itself. Everything it prints comes straight from its corporate masters in McLean, Virginia.
