This is Spike. He's a kitten in about 1983 maybe. (Not sure of the date; it was a color negative that I found and scanned.) Spike passed over the Rainbow Bridge in 2001.
Why Spike? Because the older cat was named Rocky. When you've got a Rocky, you have to have a Spike, right? (Well, plus, he had the sharpest damn claws...)
