Remember how I said we'd gotten approval for our m0rtg4ge? (I'm obfuscating that ... word ... to try to head off the sp*m b*ts.)
Well, we still haven't had an appraisal.
But! The appraiser is supposed to call me to do a walk-through.
Of course, he's been supposed to do that for nearly three weeks.
And! We do have a closing date.
Three weeks from now.
And! Bonus! We get to sign the same set of papers again that we've already signed TWICE. AND get our credit reports raped for a third time in the bargain.
I hate banks. This could have been done by the end of March. Instead, it's dragging on to May. And a lot of it is the government's fault; do you know what you have to go through to get an FHA loan these days? It shouldn't happen to a dog.
