Tam ruminates on Election Day liquor laws.
Which reminds me of the stories Mom tells about working in the Indiana Senate as part of the clerical staff back in the '60s. She says that liquid lunches and dinners were the order of the day, and that the times the Lieutenant Governor had to be essentially propped into position at the rostrum were anything but few and far between.
Indiana legislators are probably lucky that they meet only 120 days out of every 2 years. God help their livers if they spent more time in session.
