All your birthers belong to us.

Apparently the alleged Kenyan "certificate of birth" for Barack Øbama that surfaced a few days ago is a forgery. So many coincidences!

- The design is identical, down to the seal at the top and the classifications ("Christian name," etc) used for identifying the baby.

- The "registrar" on the Bomford [ed. note: original] document is G.F. Lavender. On the Taitz [ed. note: forged] document, it’s E.F. Lavender.

- The "district registrar" on the Bomford document is J.H. Miller. On the Taitz document, it’s M.H. Miller.

- The number of the book is identical on both documents: Book 44B, Page 5733.

What’s more likely — that two Kenyan bureaucrats shared last names with two Australian bureaucrats, and that the numbers on both certificates were identical? Or that someone used this document, available online for anyone who wanted to look, to forge the Obama "certificate?"

While I do think the Ø would do himself a big favor by authorizing the release of the paper documentation from Hawaii, I've also thought from day one that the birther nonsense has been just that — nonsense. (Though frankly, authorizing the release now would just add fuel to the fire, since birthers would only say he stalled for time to create the non-existent record. Birthers are fucking idiots that way.)

Folks on the right who believe and push the birther idiocy are an embarassment. You're not going to overturn the election based on supposition and things like this obvious forgery.

H/T, LGF.
