Apparently there's going to be a protest at the State Fairgrounds today against the Marine Corps urban warfare training that will be going on here in Indy for the next two weeks.
It'll be right there with the geek show, the microcephalic boy, and the bearded lady. The bearded lady, by the way, is JoAnne Lingle, who's organizing the protest. If you google Ms. Lingle, you'll find that she has quite the background in asshole (that is to say, radical left-wing) political action (that is to say, protests), and has been arrested and convicted several times for criminal trespass.
Like one commenter on the Star's piece said, maybe she should move somewhere the hell else where her left-wing beliefs are more cherished -- except then she'd probably lose the right to speak out about them. Sad that the Star couldn't have brought up the fact that she's a convicted lefty rabble-rouser while framing the entire article around the fact that a few jerkoffs are upset that the Marines are coming here.
Speaking of the Gannett Star, their fancy new website is just getting worse and worse. It took forever to load this morning and then it took me forever to find the damn story I'd just read in the print edition. It's no wonder nobody takes them seriously anymore.
