I think stories like this (sorry -- annoying registration required), responded to here, only go to show how desparate the Left is not to face a candidate like Fred Thompson.
Fred is not another Reagan -- there will never be another Reagan -- but Fred is what we need today. I'd have to vote for Giuliani in a race that Fred didn't get into, but Fred -- if he'd just announce -- is my first choice. And that's what the Left is afraid of.
