BitTorrent...more like bitTrickle.

Some time back I downloaded CentOS 4.3 with BitTorrent. That's a pretty huge download and it ran overnight, no problem, good throughput, done by morning.

On the other hand, I've been trying to download the first 10 episodes of Torchwood for three days and getting Captain Jack shit for throughput. I mean, literally, I started downloading this shit Sunday night, and it's only 3.4GB. I've got a 4Mbit down pipe and I'm sending more upstream than I'm getting back down. And I don't think my downstream has ever averaged more than 10MB/s. The seed hosts are more or less ignoring me, too.

Definitely not impressed by the distributed delivery paradigm.
