Barely a word in there (and nothing specific) about how the Interstates were actually designed as a sop to the Teamsters Union, who were chafing because the railroads had a near-monopoly on long-distance transportation.
I'm sorry, but I hate the Interstates. And most of the reason is the truck traffic, the vast bulk of which would be better on the railroads...if we hadn't all but destroyed our rail system to make truckers happy.
And bottom line, the Autobahn was a Nazi idea. Look how well that worked for them.
