Wrote Senator Lugar this morning as follows:
This note is to let you know that this constituent is absolutely opposed to the potential election of Sen. Arlen Specter to chair the Judiciary Committee. The man is a RINO and will stab real Republicans in the back at any opportunity. We don't need him presiding over confirmation hearings for President Bush's judiciary appointments.
You are encouraged to write your (Republican) senator(s) in like manner. If you don't have a Republican senator, first of all, what is your state thinking? and second, K-Lo has a nice list of all the Republican senators who sit on the Judiciary Committee for you to call/write/fax.
PS: Ignore what she says about Frist. She recanted later.
