FWIW

I read the Key Findings document issued by the Duelfer Committee.

I see nothing in there that suggests the Bush Administration wasn't 100% correct in removing Saddam Hussein from power.

Like the WashTimes says today, all you have to do is read the first sentence and you already know the MSM are misrepresenting the report:

Saddam Husayn so dominated the Iraqi Regime that its strategic intent was his alone. He wanted to end sanctions while preserving the capability to reconstitute his weapons of mass destruction (WMD) when sanctions were lifted.

If that's not a good enough reason to take him out, what is? Whether he had them or not, he was planning to have them as soon as he could get the sanctions lifted. And some of our so-called allies were front and center in the effort to get the sanctions lifted.

Don't believe knee-jerkedly what the MSM say about Duelfer. At least read the key findings for yourself. It's only 19 pages.

The whole report is available here.
