Reports Conflict on Arafat's Health
Israel has allowed Tunisian doctors to enter Yasser Arafat's compound in the West Bank to treat him for the flu, officials there told FOX News.
And of course, the obligatory "nothing to see here, just move on" lie:
"The president is in good health. He is suffering from a cold," a Tunisian representative was quoted as saying in Haaretz. "There is nothing to worry about."But sources told FOX News the Palestinian Liberation Organization leader's condition has seriously deteriorated in the last 24 hours, since Israeli TV first reported he had the flu. The Palestinian sources said that if the doctors determine Arafat needs surgery he will be flown to an overseas hospital.
Geez, between this and the news earlier this week that Castro had fallen and broken his arm, it's been a bad week for dictators. Not that that's bad for the rest of us.
