Given the type of people you usually see working in a Borders bookstore, this doesn't surprise me in the slightest.
Perhaps I will have to take my rather expensive reading habit elsewhere. Looking back I see that I've spent around $500/year there in the last three...and interestingly enough, about the same for the past two at Amazon. Maybe I'll just give Amazon my Borders business, too.
