Real Clear Politics commentary on the 9 Nov 1997 speech in the Senate by John F. Kerry, D-MA, titled (provocatively) "We Must Be Firm With Saddam Hussein"; in which the aforesaid John F. Kerry, who by the way served in Vietnam, came out in favor of unilateral action on the part of the United States against Saddam Hussein, who had just thrown U.N. weapons inspectors out of the country.
The man can't run on his 30-year-old record anymore. He's done and said too many contradictory things since he came back from Southeast Asia to get away with it any longer.
