Said dick wouldn't be as likely to be outside your door if he thought there was a possibility that you were waiting for him with a weapon of your own.
There's a reason they're called "equalizers". So I guess Ms. Norton and her ilk would prefer that law-abiding citizens be less equal than criminal scum.
