Yesterday was supposed to be some sort of "eat a dead animal for PETA" day.
It just occurred to me that I ate a wonderful steak sandwich last night while Sally played euchre at the pub. And she had a bacon quesadilla.
Since we don't eat much real meat these days, I consider that a win.

[LATER] Whoops! It's TODAY! Thank God I had a ham and turkey sandwich for lunch. I was going to have pizza for dinner but I'm now inspired to make something more meaty...
