I knew of such an animal when I lived in the DC area, there was one at UMCP called MaryPIRG.
I didn't know they'd started one at IU not terribly long after I left there, or I would have been raising hell about it. (I was, once upon a time, vice president of the student body at the Indianapolis campus.)
