Trent Lott makes it official: Stepping down as Majority Leader.
I still think the outrage over the statement he made is ridiculous. But Lott has needed to be gone for some time. He's far too accommodating of the Dumbs. Let's get a real conservative into that post and maybe we can get some good work done in the next two years.
