If someone I know dies and the funeral is in a faraway place, I can’t get the military to fly me there for free. Like as not, I will just send flowers and a card, and phone the family with my condolences.
Oh, wait. It’s not free. It costs a shitton of money — MY money, YOUR money, TAXPAYER money, BORROWED CHINESE MONEY — to fly a very expensive plane from DC to Florida with a bunch of congresscritters on board. How much money?

There’s not a single serving congresscritter who couldn’t afford to pony up for a coach ticket to go to Rep. Young’s funeral. Or even better, why not skip the Florida funeral and have a memorial service for him in DC? Then no congresscritter has to go anywhere and they can go right the fuck back to work on fucking the country over even worse than they already have.
I would support putting them all on one plane, flying it out over the Atlantic, and letting the crew bail out leaving the plane on autopilot. What do you call a planeful of congresscritters crashing in the Atlantic?
