Seen on Facebook, regarding the fugitive from Kentucky who managed to get cornered by police and shot himself near Perry Meridian Middle School in Indianapolis:
This is getting ridiculous! Perry Meridian’s in such a safe area, it’s stupid!
LIKE THE FUCKING FUGITIVE BEING CHASED BY POLICE KNEW THAT? LIKE HE CARED? LIKE HE WASN’T BEING CHASED BY POLICE AND JUST SAID, HEY, THIS MIDDLE SCHOOL DRIVEWAY LOOKS LIKE A GOOD PLACE TO OFF MYSELF?
They could have chased him down a completely different street and he might have stopped at a CVS or a church. I doubt he had any plan at all short of “Gotta get away from the cops!”
Anyway: Idiot. There are no safe areas. There are only areas that are less dangerous than others.
